Ruben Mandujano, Uduimoh Umolu and Jon Basíl Tequila have turned a former auto repair shop in Chicago’s Pilsen neighborhood into a combined café, art gallery and event venue called Café Jon and Galleria.
The three partners created the space to serve as a community hub that blends food, visual art and programming for events.
Pilsen, known for its artistic heritage, is seeing an increase in mixed‑use venues that support local culture and entrepreneurship.
