A Southern California photographer and community scientist used trail cameras in the Santa Ana Mountains to capture wildlife scenes that include Halloween motifs on Sunday, Oct. 25, 2026.

The photographer set up the cameras in the mountain area, recorded animals and added seasonal Halloween elements to the images, combining his interests in wildlife photography and the holiday.
