Miami-Dade County Public Schools and the nonprofit Fertil Earth announced a partnership on Monday for the second annual Pumpkin Smash fundraiser in Miami, targeting pumpkin collection for the community.
Eleven local public schools are taking part, and the event aims to collect twice as many pumpkins as the inaugural edition did the previous year.
The Pumpkin Smash continues as a recurring, community‑driven fundraiser supporting Fertile Earth's initiatives.
