A 95-year-old resident was discovered dead on the grounds of the Elogia retirement complex in Montreal’s Hochelaga-Maisonneuve neighbourhood early Sunday morning. Police were called to the scene at approximately 3:10 a.m. on October 18, 2026.
The Sûreté du Québec’s Montreal police service is conducting an investigation into the circumstances of the death, and the cause has not yet been determined.
