International Trade Minister Maninder Sidhu travelled to Ireland on October 22 to promote progress in digital trade negotiations with the European Union ahead of the forthcoming Canada‑EU summit in Montreal.
The visit aims to move a digital trade agreement forward before the summit, as discussions between Canada and the EU have been gaining momentum in the run‑up to the meeting scheduled for next week in Montreal.
