Mayors of Rosemont and Plateau Call for Van Horne Viaduct Closure
The mayors of two Montreal boroughs have proposed closing the Van Horne viaduct, ending the main road link between them. The viaduct presently serves as a key connector for both areas.

The mayors of Rosemont–La-Petite-Patrie and Plateau-Mont-Royal have put forward a plan to shut down the Van Horne viaduct, which would remove the direct road connection between their two boroughs.
The structure currently functions as an important thoroughfare linking Rosemont–La-Petite-Patrie with Plateau-Mont-Royal in Montreal.
