The Mouvement pour mettre fin à l’itinérance à Montréal, a network of community organisations across Quebec, released a White Paper urging the provincial government to tackle the root causes of homelessness in order to achieve a fifty‑percent reduction by 2030.
The paper aligns with the province’s own target of cutting its homeless population in half by that year.
