Assembly Member Linda Rosenthal introduced legislation on Oct. 8, 2026 at the New York State Assembly in Albany that would broaden the reporting requirements for rape and sexual assault on college campuses. The proposal comes after recent rape allegations at Cornell University.
The measure would build on the state's 2015 Enough is Enough Law, which already requires colleges to report sexual assault incidents, by extending the scope of those reporting obligations.
