The city operates a free, pop‑up warehouse on the third floor of a 35,000‑square‑foot building on Queens’ Northern Boulevard. Teachers can visit the site on the first Thursday of each month to collect classroom supplies at no charge.
Each session allows educators to fill carts with items such as dinosaur masks, easels and a variety of other classroom resources, including up to 1,000 top hats stocked for distribution.
The next supply day is scheduled for October 15, 2026, continuing the monthly effort to provide needed materials for teachers across New York City.
