The Metropolitan Transportation Authority’s Arts & Design unit, in partnership with Christopher Payne, unveiled a photography exhibition called “In Service: MTA Photographs.” The show presents images of the personnel who keep the subway system operating.
Displayed at five locations across New York City, the exhibit is designed to give riders a moment to notice the often‑unseen work that supports the network’s roughly seven million daily passengers.
