A 57‑year‑old man identified as Demetrius Crichlow was caught in the door of an A‑train on the New York City subway earlier this week and was dragged to his death.
The Metropolitan Transportation Authority’s New York City Transit division said the cause of the fatal incident remains unclear.
The matter was discussed at the MTA board meeting on September 30, where officials said they have not yet determined how the victim became trapped in the train door.
