The New York City Housing Authority removed asbestos residue from the exterior walls of the Marcy Houses public housing complex in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn, after a steam leak left white dust on residents' windows.
The residue was caused by a breach in a mobile boiler line that released steam and asbestos-laden material onto the building's surfaces.
