A stolen vehicle ignited after the driver lost control and slammed it into a pole near Greenwood Playground at the intersection of 5th Street and Greenwood Avenue in the Windsor Terrace area of Brooklyn on Oct. 3, 2026 at about 11 a.m.
Police were responding to a stolen‑vehicle report when the crash occurred and are now investigating the incident.
