A study released by the CUNY School of Public Health and the Workers Justice Project reports that delivery workers in New York City face high rates of physical injuries and mental health problems.
The research surveyed 561 workers out of an estimated 70,000 delivery employees in the city. Findings link the demanding nature of the job, including long hours and physical strain, to the elevated injury and mental health rates.
