Two men have been indicted by federal prosecutors for providing fentanyl disguised as cocaine to two women in a Manhattan dormitory, resulting in the death of one woman after she was raped while unconscious.
The alleged assault and overdose occurred in the dormitory on October 15, 2026. The victim, a female college student, died from the fentanyl overdose.
Federal authorities are pursuing drug distribution and sexual assault charges amid a citywide increase in fentanyl‑related deaths.
