The Philadelphia Police Department, in partnership with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and other law‑enforcement teams, announced that 41 fugitives residing in HUD‑subsidized housing were taken into custody during a two‑week crackdown in September 2026.
The operation focused on removing fugitives living in government‑funded housing and resulted in dozens of arrests over the two‑week period.
