The Philadelphia Parking Authority announced that a 60‑day warning period will start on Monday, Oct. 5, 2026 for drivers traveling through the school‑zone area surrounding Northeast High School.

During this warning phase, school‑zone speed cameras at 1609 Cottman Avenue, between Glendale Avenue and Algon Street, will be operational but will not issue citations.

After the 60‑day period ends, the cameras will enforce speed limits automatically.

The activation adds Northeast High School to the city’s expanding automated speed‑enforcement program for school zones.
