Bryn Mawr College announced the creation of an institute dedicated to accepting and learning from failure. Launched three years ago in 2023, the institute seeks to make failure a normal component of learning and innovation.
The concept for the institute grew out of a 2023 hiking trip on Mount Roberts in Alaska undertaken by a Bryn Mawr professor and colleagues. That experience prompted the development of a program that encourages students and researchers to treat setbacks as opportunities for growth.
