Former employees of the Academy of Natural Sciences say a recent shift away from the museum’s dinosaur identity resulted in staff cuts.

They assert that the effort to drop the dinosaur branding was connected to cost reductions and led to layoffs and other operational problems.

The claims add to ongoing criticism of the Philadelphia institution from former workers.
