The New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development announced that the state’s minimum wage will rise by $0.56 to $16.48 per hour for most workers, taking effect on Jan. 1, 2027.
The increase is the latest step in a series of scheduled minimum‑wage hikes that the state has planned, with this rise set for the start of 2027.
