District Attorney Larry Krasner on October 9, 2026 publicly asked U.S. District Judge Paul S. Diamond to remove himself from any case involving the DA, saying the judge appeared biased.
Krasner stated that the judge had demonstrated apparent bias and had "twisted the landscape" of the case.
The request follows earlier remarks by Judge Diamond in which he accused Krasner of possible criminal conduct.
