The Philadelphia Parallel Parking Association announced on Thursday a contest to decide the city’s top parallel parker for 2026. Fifteen local residents will take part in three separate parking challenges to earn the title “Best Parallel Parker in Philadelphia 2026”.
The competition formalizes a long‑standing local enthusiasm for parallel parking, which many residents treat like a sport, and will crown the winner as the city’s best parallel parker.
