Unionville High School in Kennett Square and Universal Audenried Charter School in Philadelphia started installing rooftop solar arrays on Saturday, with the goal of reducing their utility expenses.
The projects are part of a regional push by schools to lower electricity bills by generating solar power on their own rooftops.
