The Philadelphia Water Department will start emergency repairs on a sinkhole on Fanshawe Street in the Mayfair neighborhood on Monday, October 5, 2026.
The department dispatched an emergency repair contractor after assessing street and plumbing conditions at the massive sinkhole.
