The nonprofit Philadelphia Youth Basketball announced plans for a new $50 million facility called “The Generator” in Nicetown, Philadelphia. The center will provide instructional spaces for teenagers focused on skilled trades and entrepreneurship.
The project is intended to expand city teens’ access to career pathways in construction, technology, healthcare and entrepreneurship. The initiative is being led by the Philadelphia‑based nonprofit to create training and educational spaces for youth across the city.
