Power Issues Trigger Up to 50‑Minute Delays on SEPTA Rail

On Friday night, Oct. 30, 2026, SEPTA reported that power problems are causing delays of up to 50 minutes on most of its Regional Rail lines.

The issue is affecting 13 lines, including the Airport, Chestnut Hill East, Chestnut Hill West, Fox Chase, Doylestown, Media, Norristown, Thorndale, Trenton, Warminster, Newark and West Trenton routes, and is preventing riders from tapping into Suburban Station.
