On Saturday, demonstrators gathered at an Old City parking garage in Philadelphia to urge the Philadelphia Parking Authority to halt its lease of garage spaces to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
The protest highlighted the sixteen parking spots that ICE currently reserves in the city‑owned facility, with participants demanding that the arrangement be ended.
The lease is managed by the Philadelphia Parking Authority in coordination with the Department of Homeland Security.
