The Schuylkill Center for Environmental Education completed a $1 million flood‑control restoration project in a North Philadelphia neighborhood on Saturday. The work restores natural landscape features to better manage stormwater runoff, curb flooding and erosion, and protect wildlife habitat.
The project employed natural‑landscape techniques aimed at improving stormwater management across the area.
