The family in South Philadelphia gathered on Oct. 24, 2026 to welcome Master-at-Arms Second Class Santino Roccuzzo home after a 322‑day deployment aboard the USS Lincoln.
The deployment, lasting 322 days, is the second‑longest overseas deployment for a U.S. ship since the Vietnam War, and eight suicide attempts were reported among the crew during that period.
The USS Lincoln, an aircraft carrier that took part in the Iran War, arrived in San Diego Bay earlier this month, drawing national headlines.
