The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced that a single lane of southbound I-95 will be closed on Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The closure applies to the segment between the Academy Road and Cottman Avenue interchanges in Northeast Philadelphia.
The lane shutdown is intended to allow crews to repair Intelligent Transportation Systems cameras that monitor traffic on the highway. The work is part of routine ITS maintenance and is limited to the specified time window.
