Two Philadelphia police officers were injured on the 300 block of East Erie Avenue in North Philadelphia on October 31, 2026, after a vehicle that fled a traffic stop struck one of them at approximately 5 p.m.
One officer was directly hit by the car, while a second officer also sustained injuries though he was not struck. The collision occurred as the driver attempted to evade the stop, causing the impact with the officers.
The incident follows a similar event the previous day in Germantown, where another Philadelphia officer was struck by a car.
