An Arizona father was indicted on fraud and forgery charges in Phoenix on Oct. 19, 2026 after submitting falsified receipts to misuse money from the state's Education Savings Account program.
The indictment claims the father created false documentation in order to obtain or divert funds that are intended for private school tuition under the program.
Arizona's Education Savings Account program provides state money to families for private school costs, and state authorities have been actively investigating false expense claims.
