Two legislative seats in a wealthy Scottsdale-area district are being contested, and the outcome will decide which party controls the Arizona House of Representatives.
The Republican Party has held an uninterrupted majority in the chamber since 1966. A loss of these seats would enable the Democratic Party to take control of the House for the first time in sixty years.
