The City of Everett announced on October 21 that it is expanding its Service Facility Buffer Zone program by creating two new zones near the intersection of Colby Street and Broadway. In these zones, sitting or lying down on the public right‑of‑way is prohibited.
The addition builds on an existing program that already restricts certain activities in public spaces, extending those limitations to the newly designated areas.
