The U.S. Secret Service wrapped up a two‑day effort on Oct. 21 to locate and remove illegal skimming devices aimed at electronic benefit transfer (EBT) cards in Seattle.
The agency said the action is part of a broader series of targeted measures to curb EBT card skimming schemes that have appeared in multiple cities across the country.
