A floatplane performed an emergency landing on Lake Ki near Marysville, Washington, on September 30, 2026. A passerby on the shoreline assisted the pilot while crews from the Marysville Fire District and the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene.
The pilot was able to land safely on the water, and the good Samaritan helped until emergency personnel arrived. Fire district crews and sheriff’s deputies then took over operations at the site.
