Several Shoreline schools were forced to close this morning after a power outage, with electricity restored shortly before 10 a.m., according to Seattle City Light, which said the disruption was caused by equipment failure.
The outage affected schools in Shoreline, located north of Seattle, and halted classes until power returned.
Seattle City Light, the provider of electricity for the Seattle area, notes that outages can interrupt operations at local schools.
