On Monday, volunteers from the Seattle Victim Support Team began dedicating their weekends to serve as the initial point of contact for individuals experiencing domestic violence, coordinating directly with the Seattle Police Department.
The effort gives victims prompt assistance and access to resources aimed at helping them move out of abusive environments.
Through this collaboration, the Victim Support Team and police provide early support and referrals to survivors throughout the city.
