On October 10, a Montgomery County animal control officer entered a residence in the county and removed a snake that measured about two feet, or 24 inches, from the bedroom of a woman living there.
The removal is part of the county's routine response to wildlife intrusions in residential homes, where officers are called to safely extract animals that enter dwellings.
