Takoma Park announced that the Laurel Avenue Streetery will be temporarily closed on Saturday, Oct. 10, 2026, while a gas main is replaced.
The closure is limited to the period needed for the gas line work. The Laurel Avenue Streetery, created during the pandemic, has become a key public space in Old Takoma.
