Winnipeg’s municipal election scheduled for October 2026 will determine the occupants of five vacant city‑council seats and will also feature incumbents facing challengers in five additional wards, bringing the total number of contested wards to ten.
The open seats will be contested by new candidates, while the five wards with incumbent councillors will see opposition from experienced challengers, including two former city councillors.
