Environment Canada has warned that a significant fall storm will affect northern Manitoba, bringing rain that will convert to heavy, wet snowfall. The agency predicts 15 to 25 centimetres of snow as the system moves into the area later this week.

The transition from rain to snow is expected to occur as the storm advances, delivering the projected snowfall amounts across the region.
