The Manitoba government introduced amendments to the Liquor, Gaming and Cannabis Control Act on Monday, seeking to remove the rule that requires cannabis retailers to use window coverings. The proposal cites safety concerns as the reason for the change.
Current provincial legislation obliges cannabis storefronts to block the view into their interiors. If adopted, the amendment would eliminate that requirement.
