Manitoba PCs Launch Leadership Search as Fall Session Begins

The Manitoba Progressive Conservative Party has begun a search for a new leader as Manitoba MLAs return for the fall legislative sitting. The party currently holds 19 seats in the provincial legislature.

The PCs remain behind the governing New Democratic Party, led by Premier Wab Kinew, which controls 34 seats. The Liberal Party occupies one seat, and three independents also sit in the house.
