The Manitoba Royal Canadian Mounted Police announced Wednesday that they confiscated more than $279,000 worth of illicit drugs during separate incidents at a northern Manitoba airport.

The seizures are part of the RCMP's ongoing enforcement activities targeting transportation hubs across the province.
