On Oct 13, Scott Gillingham, a mayoral candidate in Winnipeg, said he would merge the city’s water and waste customer service centre with the existing 311 non‑emergency contact centre.
Winnipeg currently runs separate call centres for water and waste services alongside the 311 line.
