Manitoba RCMP charged two men from Ontario after officers discovered $50,000 in cash inside a semi‑truck that was pulled over on the Trans‑Canada Highway near Elie, about 30 km west of Winnipeg, on September 29, 2026 at approximately 2:10 p.m.

The cash was uncovered during a routine traffic stop, prompting the RCMP to lay charges against the occupants.
