On October 10, 2026, the Manitoba premier and two New Democratic Party MLAs asked a Manitoba court to dismiss a defamation lawsuit filed by former party member Mark Wasyliw.
Wasyliw, who was expelled from the governing NDP caucus, brought the suit last year claiming the premier and the two legislators conspired to damage his reputation.
The filing seeks to have the case thrown out by the court.
