Premier Wab Kinew announced that a report slated for release next week will detail misconduct and misappropriated funds in the renovation of the downtown Winnipeg police headquarters.

The report is scheduled for the week of October 22, 2026. The city is reviewing the renovation after an inquiry was launched into the project's management.
