An RCMP officer has been charged following a March 26, 2025 collision in Portage la Prairie where his police vehicle struck an unidentified cyclist. The incident occurred while the officer was pursuing two individuals described as suspects.
The Independent Investigation Unit, Manitoba’s police watchdog, investigated the collision and brought the charges against the officer.
